Used to generate a pressurized dome around Moonbase Alpha and other Moonbase locations. Arrayed in a circle they create a dome that holds atmosphere at pressure, ideally suited for location in mostly circular craters.

Ships with a Phase Code can sync to the phase pattern of the shield to pass through without the need to depressurize the dome. Only works for larger flying ships, smaller scout ships and personal transportation devices do not have enough capacity to phase sync with the shields. Ground and mining vehicles are also unable to phase match due to their erratic speed, size, and other factors. These vehicles must use the Pressurized Doors to exit or enter the dome.
