Interesting thought here, one that I have had discussions about in the past. I really think integrating LDD into the game in some way would be way better then having to use two tools. Your inventory would somehow have to be accessible to LDD but I think LDD is a much more polished build tool.
Right now if you build something on your property but want it in LDD you have to build it all over again.
Yeah, nice models BTW!

Actually, if you do a bit of file diving, you can find your models created in LEGO Universe and open them in LDD. For instance, back in the Alpha Test, the mods were creating models in the showcases:

I later found the .lxf files for all these showcase test models in the game files:

Say, the Piratron Scout Ship uses the same rear engine design as the blue spaceship from the showcases. Were they made by the same person?

Yes they were both made by the same person. He has an account here as well and hopefully he can tell you more about them.

The first one looks very cool, but can use a little more color...
I like both models, especially the car, maybe you can use as race car for a race track regarding moonbase???

Actually, the robot is a classic character from an old 1986 LEGO Space series of comics. Changing his colors would totally nullify the point of re-creating him. His name is Keko, and he's the sidekick of Jim Spaceborn.

Hey, Jamesster, can you try renaming the .lxf files as .zip files and attaching them that way? I really want to see this stuff, but my computer blocks anything from Brickshelf...
