Note: This is a scenario that could be used to connect the moon base to the maelstrom.

After completing several missions, a new minifig appears. He looks worried. When you chat with him, he tells you a story about a colony set up on a near by asteroid, but they have lost contact with it. He sends you on a mission to go with the next supply ship to attempt to get into the colony. as the ship nears the asteroid, a shock of maelstrom whips up and wrecks the ship. You climb out of the smoldering wreckage, and see another minifig: the last colonist. He tells you to build a rocket pad, but first you must go get the parts, scattered across the colony. As you collect the parts, you are attacked by infected colonists. When you build the rocket pad, more minifigs come and begin setting up 'clean' spaces. You can return to battle the infected any time once you build the launchpad.

Note: as you collect the launchpad parts, other minifigs who already completed the mission could be running around, too.

That story is pretty good and can be used in game directly.

After I posted this, I noticed somewhere on the site that the A-Team didn't want to connect the Maelstrom to Moon base Alpha. Is that true?
